  Yes, Citibank is renown for the worst customer service in the banking industry. I've only experience unfriendly and coldness at Citibank Korea. The best demeanor I've had was robotic and nonchalant.

  Had a very humiliating experience here. My international debit card didn't work well abroad, so I went to this branch to fix the problems. The guard looking middle age lady at the front asked me why I was there, and I told her that I was struggling in abroad because of the debit card. She gave me a paper lisitng the functions of card and asked me to check again. She said the card doesn't work on purchasing of hotel or flights. I wasn't introduced those things when I issued my card, so I told her that I didn't know it at all. I also asked why only Citi "international" debit card doesn't work on the most important parts of traveling. I know it's my fault that I didn't check it twice, but her following respond got me pretty upset. She said, "Well, if you think Citi card doesn't well, why don't you go other bank? Yeah you can compare our cards to others, and if you still don't think we are okay, go other banks." I've been used Citi bank account for so many years, and this is all I got. I don't wanna use Citi bank anymore.
