  Super famous restaurant especially for Cold noodles in the town. Not easy to find and need to wait normally.

  Excellent "Raeng-Myon" Korean style chewy buckwheat noodle. Two types of noodle is famous. MulRaengMyon is noodle in the soup. HoeiRangMyon is dry noodle served with special spicy chilly paste with half dried raw fish. It is not like Sashimi but very delicious. If you go there after 12 noon, you shall queue up quite some time. So try to be a bit earlier. They give you special tea. Must try. Very nice taste and free refill. Restaurant is old traditional Korean style house but generally, everything is very clean including kitchen. Can not speak English but never mind. Not so many menu so you can simply finger-point what you want. Additional noodle is available and cheap if you are heavy volume eater.

  Just awesome! The only restaurant, where you can eat the right Pyeongyang cold noodle in tasteless Daegu.

  A noodle house tucked away in a little alley, this place has a long history of offering just three (mainly) menu items: cold buckwheat noodle soup (mul naeng myeon 물냉면), cold sweet potato noodles in a spicy red pepper sauce (bi bim naeng myeon 비빔냉면), and slices of boiled beef (su yuk 수육). It's a bit on the pricey side (7,500 for noodles, 20-30,000 for small or big plates of boiled beef), but it's worth the different take on a Korean staple: the buckwheat noodles are thicker than usual, and the broth is much more plain (and MSG-free); while the spicy noodles have a unique, almost cinnamon flavor, and are not too spicy for the unaccustomed (and the waitress did ask first whether or not to make it 'as they usually do', so it wasn't a foreigner-ized dish).
