  Everything you see here - a flight of makgeolli, a bottle of our favourite one, a pancake and some tasty beef - was the right amount of food and the right price. (50$ Canadian dollars each x2) I'd highly recommend Damotori, and suggest pointing at pictures like the one above, since they don't have menus in English.

  Read an article about their makgeolli, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. I got the flight, which was perfect for tasting; had the champagne and chestnut versions afterwards. The food and bar snacks are also top notch. I would absolutely go again!

  Would give more than 5 stars if I could! This place was absolutely wonderful for tasting makgeolli. My partner and I started with the tasting/sampler tray (4000W each) which was so interesting because we discovered how different makgeolli can taste! Then we ordered bottles of the ones we liked the best from the sampler. The menus are only in Korean, but the staff can help translate. One thing I would recommend is that they get some menus printed in English, as we would have liked to read about the origin/making of different makgeollis ourselves as we tasted them. But besides that, it was such a lovely evening, with good food too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

  The seafood kimchi pancakes and ribs were amazing. The makgeolli sampler was only 4000W. The server was wonderful and accommodating of our lack of Korean— he spoke beautiful English. Thank you!
