::The hostel is ok, the rooms and toilets are quite clean although I don't feel like I'm in Korea given the finishes but these are details that didn't impact my stay. On the other hand, what can I say about the team of volunteers who party until 5am in the bar downstairs of the hostel with the music blasting and with smokers shouting to communicate in the street. It's a bit ironic especially when you can read on the hostel rules posted on the rooms that you have to be respectful of the place by not making noise at night. If you're looking for a nightclub this is certainly the only one in Gyeongju that gets very quiet after dark. But who do you want to complain to when the hostel seems to be managed only by a team of about ten volunteers...

::The hostel is fine, you can stay there without any problem. Unfortunately, there are more volunteers than travelers and the service is pretty bad. They were basically annoyed that they had to check us in, didn't know if our beds were ready and didn't give us any information about the hostel. Just being friendly can change the whole experience of a stay.

::Great vibe/people. Owner is well traveled and understands traveling culture. Cool little town with lots of history. Best to go during festival this time. Can work/live for free at hostel if desired.

::Very nice place at that price. Things like lack of escalators or space may bother some, but at that price that's to be expected in Korea. Breakfast is minimal (toasts + jam/peanut butter + weak coffee), but it works. Maybe most important: that's actually hostel, not something with hostel just in a name. Expect some dissucusions over breakfast with fellow travelers.

::this hostel is great here is why dorm is clean spacious locker with padlock ac and window if you prefer the wind. real kitchen full equipment free to use big common space to chill , great place to meet people , lot of decoration and travels picture makes real atmosphere and there is a bar attached to the hostel with good music and the owner is friendly also a fellow traveler so he knows what traveller need . good job
