::(This article is a review in the form of a review written for the public interest.) Internal medicine doctor Inho Park 1 did not listen to the patient history, stopped talking, and told me not to talk at length about having many patients. I saved all the history-related photos (10) on my phone and showed them to her. After seeing three, she frowned, shook her head, told me not to talk about it because there were many patients, and didn't even look at it at all. In the past, a urine test for protein RU and ACR (albumin creatinine ratio) both showed abnormal results, and when I asked for a retest and wanted to test both items, the patient completely ignored me and refused to treat me, saying it was the hospital I used to go to, with the attitude that medicine was my exclusive domain and that it could do great things for me. The medical center is a larger hospital than the hospital the patient was attending, so visiting the hospital is the freedom and choice of Sokcho citizens, but they do not want to listen. In a very polite manner, he said, βDear teacher, I just received your first urine in the morning, so would you mind testing it? I asked him again, βThere are no big hospitals in Sokcho other than here,β but he said, βThen we will only do ACR,β and in an overbearing manner, he said, βIs there any reason for me to do whatever the patient wants,β in an overbearing manner, as if the protein RU test was a great medical technique that only he could perform. The albumin ratio in Protein RU (random urine protein quantification) is usually normal at 40%, so I wanted to check that as well during the test (other hospitals use two together, so it's basically a set of tests), but they didn't want to do the test, and while I was telling the history, they repeatedly interrupted me and asked me three times, saying, "There are a lot of patients, so don't talk too much, why are you here?" βIβm a patient too. Itβs only been 5 minutes. Why are you doing this?β When I asked him, he answered, βFive more minutes have passed.β I question whether it is normal for a doctor to check in at 2:30, wait 30 minutes, go in at 3:05, and sit for only 5 minutes, talking about the time 3 times in 5 minutes with an attitude of serious misconduct. When I talked to the staff at Sokcho Medical Center's civil affairs office, the staff member who was trying to mediate said that he was a "strange patient" and talked behind the patient's back. The staff member was embarrassed and said, "I can't help it because you didn't order. I'm sorry I couldn't help you." He said, "There was nothing wrong with the staff, and in Sokcho, where there are not enough options, doctors say they are the best. I will see how much more power they can abuse. I thanked the staff for their time," and as a result, he refused to do a urine test and was not tested. I returned home without being able to do anything. No matter how much doctors these days don't care about their patients, they usually try to hide their true feelings, but this is the first time they show such an overt attitude. We reported this to the public health center because we believed that modern medicine is not the property of a single doctor and that this attitude toward treatment should be avoided in city hospitals for citizens rather than private hospitals.

::An elderly couple visited the hospital My grandfather had a nosebleed. How worried was your grandmother? I think I'm the head of the emergency room, and this is what I'm saying. βGrandma, from now on, donβt come to our hospital.β So where should the old couple go? Are there really no such parents?

::While traveling in Sokcho, my friend suddenly lost consciousness and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. We would like to thank the paramedics who transported us to the hospital for their quick response and kindness, and we would also like to thank Dr. Lee Ki-heon and the emergency room medical staff who, despite their busy schedule, even wrote an English medical certificate for our foreign friend who came to the hospital. I wasn't able to ask the name of the male person in charge of the administrative department who gave me a lot of help, but I would like to thank him very much for actively helping me and my friend who were going through difficulties. Thanks to your kindness, we were able to handle insurance, etc. without any problems. Thank you again. I hope the rest of your year is filled with good things for you.
