::I went to this hospital because it is known for treating professional athletes and I am an athlete. This is the best sports hospital in Seoul -- but the quality is absurd. Treatment is exceptionally old-fashioned, slow and inattentive. This hospital is the epitome of a rip off - they prescribe conservative techniques with little benefit to gain the most income possible from their patents. SMC should be investigated for shoddy practice: they prescribed useless scans and treatment. The head doctor also prescribed prolotherapy - medically considered ineffective and has almost 0 peer reviewed or non-industry research. Balked when I brought this up. Suggested a ONE YEAR rehab program only AFTER asking how much longer I would be in Korea. Did I mention my injury is considered minor and would have 1 month treatment program in America? I went to Hong Kong for uninsured treatment from a capable doctor. Was cheaper than jumping through all of Haneul Hospital's absurd hoops and treatment far more thorough and effective. Shady, incompetent, greedy. Shame on this establishment.
