  This place, even with its cheap rates, is overpriced for what you get. There was a used condom in the bed, pubic hair on the remote, the room smelled like sewage, and there was no heat. The humidifier and water boiler were broken. When we brought this all to the attention of the concierge, they offered to change the sheets but nothing else. No comped room, no discount, no nothing. Not even an apology. It was as if this kind of thing happens every day, which I'm sure it does at a hotel like this, where they don't even give you a top sheet on the bed. It's also located atop a mountain of stairs so if you have baggage be prepared to lug it up that mountain.
