The prepaid sim business in Korea is a racket. First you have to buy a sim for 20,000 KRW and then you have to buy the data and minutes. I ended up paying about 50,000 KRW for 2GB and 10,000 KRW worth of calls and texts. In Korea, you only pay for outgoing calls. The 2 GB did last me almost 2 weeks, but I had to make sure I used wi-fi everywhere it was available. I also only used my phone for basically the maps feature. I highly recommend you rent a pocket wi-fi instead.
