::it is nearby Anguk Station & you can easily navigate seoul from here using subway, bus & airport bus. the locations on maps also accurate. it is also walking distance to the insadong & iksendong street & restaurant. there are also a few halal & muslim friendly restaurant nearby. the breakfast provided are a lot and more than enough for me. it is self check in hostel, so please check your email. but my experience is there are some delayed receiving the email from Agoda, i guess probably due to network issue. but mr kim can be reach through the phone number provided at the receptions. i have no complains for the room & bathroom, as i only plans to get some rest & shower only. there is also hair dryer, tv & fridge in room. you can get borrow iron at the common area. the room was a bit small but its fine for me as i can keep all my bags underneath the bed. as it is winter, there are heater on the floor, so sleeping is comfy as it is not cold. mr kim is also a very helpful and allow us to keep our bag for a while before we headed to airport on our last day. thanks mr kim, see you again.

::Mr Kim is the best host. The hostel is quite clean, cozy and affordable. Will definitely come again if i travel to Seoul again. Don’t complain if you don’t pay like 5 star hotel. You get what you pay for.

::Stayed here in the middle of November 2024. I will start with the only positives I can come up with: - Good location - The cat was cute Besides those two things, this was the most hellish hostel experience I’ve ever had. Cleanliness, which is usually the only thing I truly cannot compromise on, was a 0/10. I stayed for a week (and only because I couldn’t afford to book anything else last minute) and someone would come in to empty the trash bins, but that was it. No cleaning of the rooms, nor the only shared bathroom. FOR A WEEK. The chemical smell of my room (I’m assuming it was naftalina) stuck to my hair and clothes so intensely that even after washing them, I could still get whiffs of it a week later in Japan. My friend and I literally bought some air fresheners for the room because it was that bad. I truly got very little sleep due to this, it was just too intense. The duvet was stained and there was no cover for it. There were hair and nail clippings just laying around, and very concerning mold on the ceiling. Please just don’t let the pictures fool you. Lastly, my friend with whom I stayed there with also left a review and received some very offensive emails from the owner, and the tone of them makes me want to warn any women traveling alone to please stay somewhere else. Hope this was helpful so that you don’t find yourself in the situation we did.

::The room that I have stayed on was clean, cozy and comfy. Could be a bit better by having adapters for the power outlet (which Mr. Kim provided when I asked for help). The service by Mr. Kim (owner) was topnotch! He was very approachable, accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Mr. Kim's daughter, Uni (the very cute and fluffy cat) even let us pet her and just stayed behave and not roam around contrary to what other reviews said. Breakfast buffet was sufficient, food provided were more than enough to start the day. There were a couple of various choices. The location was convenient for tourists since transportation can be easily accessed at the nearby train stations and bus stations as well. The price is really not bad considering the location of the hostel and what you're getting. Will definitely recommend! 감사합니다 Mr. Kim and Uni! See you next time!

::Mr Kim and his cat are very sweet! I will miss this place even just for that. Breakfast is included and very good, and location is very convenient (subway, shops, and restaurants nearby). Rooms are pretty basic but do the job, we had no issues. Also the rooftop terrace is very nice. Cozy atmosphere where you can have dinner with friends and even hang your clothes up to dry. All-in-all a nice place.
