::Staying in Jeju for a few days and experienced complications related to my early pregnancy. I was very scared due to language barrier but the staff was extremely nice and supportive, we communicated via Google translate, they were very patient. I was crying a lot and stressed and everyone was very empathetic. Multiple times we were escorted to the correct places to go to as they were unable to explain the directions in English. As a nice surprise I got my 1st pregnancy scan, and I had already left the doctors office by that point, but the nurse ran after me through the lobby to find me and deliver it to me. I hope that the hospital sees this review because I am very grateful for the help and the care I received. Thank you so very much!

::We stayed in Jeju for about 20 days, en route to Japan for a couple of months. During our stay, we found out that my wife was pregnant. For our first consultation, we decided to visit this hospital since it was the closest one available. Honestly, we went in with many doubts, unsure if we’d be able to communicate properly since I was the only one who spoke English. It was a challenge, but thanks to the staff's willingness and helpful attitude, everything was made much easier. We saved ourselves a big hassle by being able to schedule a visit for the very next day, and we got to see the baby’s ultrasound for the first time. This gave us peace of mind to continue with other check-ups in Japan. We were truly amazed by the facilities in such a remote part of the island, and the speed and quality of the care we received. The baby will be 6 months old in just a few days, and we will always remember the staff at Jeju Seogwipo Medical Center fondly. We are forever grateful

::'We just charge 50% more to foreigner.' Visited this hospital to get HPV vaccine today. Despite calling them prior to my visit and asked them specifically how much it is for foreigner, but once I got there, they casually asked me 150% of originally arranged price of shot. The administrator in the front desk simply told me 'We just charge 50% more to foreigner.' without any adequate explanation. I already know HPV shot is not covered by the Korean national health insurance (Which called 비급여 in Korea), thus it has to be same price for everyone who wants to get a shot in your hospital. You don't get to overcharge someone whenever you feel like.

::Entered this hospital in an emergency situation and as a foreigner. I received incredible care by exceptional professionals who struggled to convey information to me but persisted, and made me whole again. I'm forever grateful. Can't recommend these folks enough!
