::American here. My wife is originally from Cheong-ju, so she wanted to have the baby in her hometown. I have nothing but nice things to say about Motean hospital. Dr. Jongchel Park is a very good doctor. He is clear and direct. He did a wonderful job with the c-section and is expert at sutures. My wife healed very quickly. The nurses in the maternity ward are angels and care for the babies very well. The hospital is well organized and efficient. We never had to wait for anything, and the process was so simple. Coming from the United States, I am very impressed with the Korean medical system in general.

If I want to go somewhere else, I have to get a new test lol. Are they trying to prevent me from going because the test fee is a waste of money? Anyway, it's an unreasonable system.

::Basically, this is a hospital that has no concept of βreservationβ. The concept of reservation seems to be used to mean, βI will assume you are coming on this day.β Even if you go at the reservation time, you will have to wait 1 hour. If you go without a reservation, you will have to wait 20 minutes. The parking lot is not even maintained. There is a parking lot building, but it is not blocked from the entrance, so it is difficult to find a spot on the weekend with outside vehicles parked, but no one even cares, and there are no standards for using the mechanical parking lot at the entrance. It seems like it needs to be reorganized from the ground up.

::I chose this hospital because it has a lot of experience in childbirth, many medical staff, and obstetrics and gynecology and pediatrics departments. With so many people visiting, there seem to be quite a few people who are suitable for it and some who are not, but it was a hospital that was a good fit for me.
