::Their heater did not work (turned off on its own), and air came from outside despite clicking their "closing" button. This cost me the night of the sleep, in cold November, and escalated the pain due to lack of sleep. Yet Manager Chan did not refund any money and told me to come again. For $225 per night, a broken heater and refusal to refund are just too poor. Their water facet in the bathroom moved around, which made it difficult to use (video attached). For $225 per night, a moving faucet appears to be too low for a nice hotel they advertise. Breakfast food did not taste great; their shrimp porridge was too bland and hardly had shrimp. For 42,000 won per meal, it was too poor. *Updated after seeing their review and hearing from Expedia: They still refused to refund any money, after their broken thermometer cost a night of the sleep. Generic answer like below does not resolve anything.

::One of the highest building in the area, you get the best view. You have everything you need in the room and super clean. Staff is helpful and speak fluent English. Big gym.

::Great hotel in songdo. Quiet and comfortable with amazing views from the 36 floor and up. Have to travel to 65 just to take in the view. Service excellent and the room has everything for a longer stay. Only small complaint is that the room was never cooler than 21c even though I had set the thermostat to be cooler

::What can I say about the Oakwood? It's the best hotel I've been to all over the world, hands down. It's been home for me countless times. It's cozy, quiet, and it always seems like it rejuvenates me every time I start there. The staff is incredible, always so polite and helpful. The panoramic bar on the 65th floor is incredible, especially at night. The breakfast is so so and can be difficult during holidays and Sundays. But everything else more than makes up for it.

::Great rooms that are ruined by the lack of ability to control the temperature. The time all have a kitchen, washing dryer combo and all have amazing views. Staff is amazingly nice. The major failure is the recent turn off events in the last couple of years where you can't get a room cooler than 22C. If you need a cool place to sleep, this isn't your best choice. Despite being able to set a room to ridiculously could temperatures, the system will never achieve colder than 22C with an occupied room. I've stayed in, so called cold room but found it starts of cool but rises well above the set point. As an example, both rims I was in last time were set to 15C but temps hovered around 23C. Hopefully they will take this issue seriously and correct their system to provide comfortable temperatures.
