::not bad. pretty clean and has friendly staff - but definitely not worth the money. room design is awkward & dated (just a HUGE room full of empty space) , you're allowed in the gym 1 time per day, laundry is like 60$ for a weeks worth of clothes.. Just a weird vibe there. switched to the Lacky hotel mid-week and it seems much higher quality for half the price

::Not very international tourist friendly. The reception don't understand English. The hotel is clean but can make out the hotel is old. Small things like no bottled water in the room didn't leave a good first impression.

::Hotel frontage is grand with a large lobby. Amenities are good and FnB outlets serve international fare coupled with local delights, the breakfast buffet is outstanding n recommended. Rooms are sufficiently large with all the usual trappings for Wifi, work table, computer etc. Meeting rooms are also appropriately sized with adequate supporting facilities. Hotel is centrally located in town and the surrounding area has many restaurants, cafes, Malls n entertainment. Transportation poses no issues as taxis r readily available n most amenities are within walking distance. Hotel is suitable for business conventions, group retreats or even just a touristy visit. Staff are polite n helpful although not all are fully conversant in English. Checking in and out is also expedient n poses no issues. A walk around the surrounding area outside the hotel may prove interesting as several new buildings have been opened. A comfortable stay is what the Plaza is - and for the prices charged - reasonable for international level accommodation. Being located centrally is also an advantage as one may travel to sight see around Cheongju fairly easily. A recommendation is the traditional morning Main market in Cheongju which is not too far from the Hotel- front desk staff can assist in this respect.

::Good but not greatest. Rooms aren't the best for a five stars hotel. Functionaries are friendly and always with a smile, but the spoken language it's always a problem.

::All services in your room (WiFi, electricity, etc.) are activated only after you enter the room and put the roomcard at a roomcard reader placed on the wall. Its annoying. Especially because the its takes time to the router to be activate every time you step into the room. All lightes are controlled by a device located on a conter near the bed. You cant activate just 1 lamp. I was placed at first in a room that had mold on the carpet floor and the safe. Not restarted. You have a station on top of the minibar with tea bags, cups and water boiler- Nothing else! No suger, sweetner or tea spoons ( not mentioning coofee could have been nice.). The place is always empty. Looks deserted. In short- not recommended. At all.
