  This is a well-known place for the Chueo-tang (pond loach soup) which is also the famous local food in the city. For the soup, the fish was first boiled and then ground through a sieve to remove bones and skins. The soup was very thick with the fish meat and lots of vegetables and spices. These spices strengthened the flavor while overpowering the fishy taste. Once you get used to these spices, you will finally be able to like the soup. The deep-fried fish was okay as well, although the presentation of the whole fishes deep-fried wasn’t really appetizing. The restaurant just had one spacious hall with lots of tables, thus the noisy and untidy atmosphere was inevitable. The service wasn’t very friendly, but very fast and efficient. There was a large parking lot right in front of the building.
