::Available for public access without id check. Located centrally within a nice old building. Very nice design. I find the free seating space alongside the staircase a comfortable place, especially for kids who may not be able to sit still reading for a long time!

::This building had long been the City Hall of Seoul since Japanese occupation, but a few years ago was changed to a public library by Mr. Park, Wonsun, Mayor of Seoul. Although the book collection is not big enough to be called a library representing Seoul, I found books were selected well. The location allows citizens and tourists easy access. You are free to enter the library and browse books without any ID check. There is a room for foreign language books at the top floor. Worth visits.
