  Foreigners maybe think to be just one of the squares, but it is a special place for Koreans. First of all it is a capital city of the Republic of Korea, it means the center of the Republic of Korea. Many democratization protests have been held in the process of democratization of the Republic of Korea, and sometimes cultural festivals and concerts are held for citizens. Since 2002 Korea World Cup, millions of citizens enjoyed the festival, cheering for soccer in the square. In the winter season, ice rinks are built and citizens are enjoy skating.

  2018평창동계올림픽 무료셔틀 시청광장에서 운행하네요~ 오늘 있는. 폐막식 참석을 위해 탑승! 집결지에서 핫팩, 도시락, 가이드북 제공 2018 페럴림픽도 한다고 하니 이용하면 좋을 것 같아요~~

  I really like this place because of all the fun activities they do there during spring summer and beginning of fall, from streetart performances to sevillanas or kpop music. They also celebrated the main event of the LGTB parade. So cool place. Don't expect anything very cool if there isn't any event, it's just a big piece of grass

  서울광장(-廣場)은 서울 중구(中區)의 서울시청 앞에 있는 광장이다. 본래 차도였지만, 1987년 6월 항쟁과 2002년 FIFA 월드컵 등 각종 집회·시위·행사의 장소로 널리 이용되었다. 월드컵 이후 광장 조성 계획이 세워져 차도를 없애고 잔디광장을 만들었으며, 2004년 5월 1일에 완공하였다. 서울시 중구 태평로1가에 있고, 규모는 13,207m2이다.

  The hotel we stayed in was across the street from this place. There was some worker prepping the grounds for some events that's scheduled. Unfortunately, we missed it as we checked out at noon. Otherwise, this place is quite interesting.
