::I was so disappointed when I came here... because I had the wrong place! It's tucked away in an alley, all the way in the back to your right, and I had almost given up on finding it even though I'd entered the address in Maps. There's two more teahouses right in front of it, they're not the ones! Stepping into Shin Old Tea House was like stepping into an oasis. Very lovely decorated, little birds singing... the cold pear tea was surprisingly multilayered, a bit spicy, refreshing... delicious! Little rice cakes went well with it, and the owner lady who serves you is as sweet as the tea.

::One of the loveliest little traditional tea houses we’ve visited while in Seoul. If you want to have a pleasant morning/afternoon tea in a gorgeous setting, this old tea house is the place to be! Friendly and polite service and the prices are pretty affordable. Be sure to get their ginger tea!

::The lady is so nice!!! And the jujube tea is very concentrated and had lots of the jujube itself in the tea. I loved my experience here. The music is very calming, and the tea is soothing. It is dim though, so not a good place to read/study, but definitely good for alone time and maybe an audio book. It's extremely cozy with pillows around :)
