  Honestly, this hotel is probably the best 3* hotel I've ever booked & stayed. I'll recommend it to anyone who's considering to stay at Sokcho. It's better to get the higher floors as the room we had on the 2nd floor didn't have a view. Our family members on the 4th floor had lovely views from their balcony. We stayed there for 5 days 4 nights & enjoyed our stay very much. The pros are aplenty: - Sokcho Express Bus Terminal just across the road - Sokcho Beach just down the road from the hotel - Surrounded by 4-5 convenience stores - Plenty of eateries around the area - Bus stops to the main town centre, popular landmarks, & even Seoraksan Park are just 5 min walk away - Very spacious room with I think king size bed - our room even had a washing machine, microwave & a sink/kitchenette - water pressure in our room on the 2nd floor was good - fresh, clean towels (though small), a large bottle of drinking water & toilet roll were provided daily - Breakfast area view was lovely (didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment about the spread) - it's also walkable all the way to the Abai Village area The cons are probably minimal/negligible: - hotel is generally old but still clean & not in a noisy area - no lobby to sit around & wait for others - no daily housekeeping for the rooms (which is fine for us since we didn't really need it)

  Locations was great which just located beside the express bus terminal and 3 mins walk to the SokCho beach. However the picture is way different with the actual status. Balcony, room entrance and area besides bed was terrible because of the old building. Bed, and shower room was still acceptable and other part was clean enough. The outlook of this hotel is also slightly unbelievable since it's hard to recognize of its old and poor maintenance. Checked in available with a machine besides counter and multiple languages supported. Recommend to stay since it's a budget friendly and excellent location.

  The check in and check out is automated, but the hotel is very old. Close to the beach and bus terminal and ok for short stay

  We did not stay but we went to have the breakfast buffet because our hotel did not serve food. The restaurant is modern and clean with a lovely view so that is an added benefit if the weather is good. There is not much English spoken, but the staff were extremely polite and welcoming. The buffet had quite a few options, though quite typical in that it mainly had local food and not so many Western options such as pastries or fruit. It cost 13000 KRW per person, which was reasonable for a buffet you could keep going back to. It seemed like diners at the hotel had a 45-50 minute sitting, which we think was the same for us, although it was difficult for the staff to make this clear. Even so, we did not feel rushed.
