  This is where agricultural-related financial facilities have been located since the Japanese colonial period. The US military, which came to help our country during the Korean War, used this place as a headquarters to manage Sokcho Port. Sokcho is geographically located in the center of the East Sea, making it a strategic location. To this end, it was natural for the military to take charge of port management during wartime. Military rule continued even after the war, but soon after, military rule ended and the country transitioned to civilian rule, and the army left here. The Agricultural Bank, which was originally intended for use, was built in the place where the military left, and it continues to this day.
