  Really not worth the money. Braised beef was chewy and portion was really small granted the place being located in a remote area. The bean paste soup was mediocre at best. The rice was pretty good though. Overall, the place is definitely not the place to go if you're on a trip and are looking for good local restaurants.

  We had Galbi-tanga as a dinner here in a group of 20 people from various Southeast Asian region and it was very nice and authentic. The manager can speak English and very pleasant guy with smile. I love it. The taste was also very good.

  The chunggukjang and galbijjim are quite good. There is a set menu with all these combined with boribap for 19,000 won (minimum of 2 orders). Not a bad place to visit if you are near cchumsungdae or anapji.

  My friend and I went there on a rainy/ typhoon day and didn’t realize it was a national holiday, but the owner, about 70 years old, was really nice and opened the restaurant and still cooked for us. We had 갈비탕 (galbi-tang), which was one of the better ones I have tasted so far, considering I have tried 5+ different ox bone soups in Korea. It’s not greasy and it’s not bland. The side dishes were really delicious, especially the spicy octopus. The owner offered free soft drink for us too. At the end of our meal, he offered us a ride (on a typhoon day) to our destination. He said he was supposed to go to the hospital, but he still stayed until we finished our lunch. (It changed my mind about Gyeongju already.) Thank you!   Delicious! We ordered galbi tang and Sam gye tang. Both are wonderful! The host is really nice as well. Definitely will come back again!
