  ‘Tohyang’ is the pen name of Kim Jung-wook, who participated in the anti-Japanese movement in China during the Japanese colonial period and returned to Korea after liberation. It is said that the owner, Kim Jong-gu, named it Tohyang Gotaek after his father's pen name in honor of his late father. It is unclear when the house was built, but it is said to be over 350 years old.

  I kept bottled water in the refrigerator, so I tried it. I also tried tap water, and it was almost the same quality. What is the reason for providing cheap water as if it were special water? I hope you keep a conscience worthy of your old house.

  I happened to stay one night between June 16th and June 17th, and after staying there, I thought it was really nice, so I'm writing a review. Based on an old Korean house, it was thought to be a place where people who want to stay would have a unique experience. There is a separate toilet and shower for each room at the door. It was designated and the internal facilities were above standard. In my opinion, it was my favorite. (However, in winter, you have to go out the door and move I think I need to think about it a bit and reserve a room near the door. It's okay except in very cold winters) I also liked the garden outside the gate. The wildflower garden in the back was nice, and the pine forest that spread out like a folding screen on the mountain behind was also beautiful. One night at the old house was very unique to me.

  Beautiful historical village. Friendly and warm owners made the stay even more enchanting. Location is good for drive to nearby sights and hiking.
