::It was a perfect accommodation. The owner was friendly and the bedding was very clean. It felt like I was in a hotel. I looked around for a while because of the fantastic ocean view. I felt like all the stress I had built up in my mind was lifted. It was a pension that provided free breakfast and a free mud flat experience. The barbecue was also very good. I'll visit again next time^^

::Boss, you~~~~~ are so kind. I had to go out for a while in the car late in the evening, but you appeared like a ray of light on the dark road and helped me get out of the car. I had a noisy room, but the owner resolved the problem so I slept comfortably. Are you serious about pension safety and the environment? I had a great time with my family!!! Kindness 1000 points

::1. The air conditioner above the bed head rattles, interfering with sleep. 2. Waking up to the sound of the engines of fishing boats leaving port at dawn 3. Breakfast on the first floor included some mini croissants, coffee, and strawberry syrup. butter 4. There is no place to eat on the first floor and you have to go to the barbecue area to eat. 5. There is no air conditioning in the 1st floor lobby, so you have to stand in the elevator and walk up to the 4th floor with your suitcase. 6. The rooms are clean.

::It's clean and the owner is friendly. There are a few dishes in the accommodation. The barbecue area is located separately on the first floor. The weather is hot and it's hard to go up and down the 3rd floor accommodation. It was a bit inconvenient so I gave up on the barbecue. I ate raw fish at the hotel. It's nice to have a walking trail around the accommodation. Toast is ready in the morning^^

::I recently spent four nights at Tulip Pension. To be honest, a friend who knows the owner recommended this place to me, and when I saw a photo of the room showing the view, I fell in love with it, even though I knew that it was situated a bit outside of the city. I had anticipated taking the bus to downtown Tongyeong, but the owner insisted on driving me there in the morning and then, when I had finished with my tours, I would call him from Lotte Mart, where he would pick me up. He insisted that it wasn’t a problem, since my visit took place on weekdays and his schedule was more flexible than on weekends, when he gets most of his bookings and is quite busy. Needless to say, I really appreciated his kindness! He was also very helpful when a nearby store did not accept my credit card for the purchase of groceries. Since I had cash (US dollars) on me, he drove me to a bank where I could exchange them for won. Even then, I don’t think the branch was used to dealing with dollars, so they asked to see his ID, and he essentially acted as surety that my dollars were good. As for the room itself, it matched up perfectly with what I’d seen in the picture. Although just one room with a bathroom, it was lovely and contained almost everything I needed: a comfortable bed, a large refrigerator with freezer, a wide screen TV, a one-burner stove, a microwave and teapot, and dishes and cutlery. I found out that it was also possible “to borrow” such things as a frying pan that weren’t in the room. I enjoyed waking up to the lovely view in the morning, then fixing my breakfast and sitting at the table and continuing to enjoy the view. Even on the one morning when rain greeted me, it was fun watching it come down and listening to the sounds of the rain beating on the balcony. (I also want to mention that there was good water pressure in the bathroom - both for the toilet and the shower - and plenty of hot water for the shower, something that I haven’t always found at some of the places I’ve stayed.) Having learned that I knew some Korean, my host did his best to encourage me to get over my embarrassment and try to use the language as best I could. I really appreciated his encouragement as well as his warmth and nice sense of humor. Although he claims not to speak English well, that is far from true, and I appreciated the fact that I was able to convey my needs in English, when my Korean wasn’t up to the task. Overall, he really bent over backward to assist me and to make my stay as pleasant as possible, which is just one of the reasons I have such wonderful memories of my time in Tongyeong.
