::Located on a hill with clean & spacious rooms. I recommend this place only if you rented a car. It’s a 5 min drive to nearby restaurants and museums. The owner is really friendly and has 2 doggies. You get to stroll on the hill to view the town’s skyline. Very romantic and quiet neighbourhood.

::We walked to the guesthouse with our suitcases from the station, which is do-able. However in hindsight I recommend taking a taxi there. The guesthouse is on the (semi-)basement floor and upon arrival you see the cafe on the first floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we used our translation app to communicate, because our Korean was quite limited. We were allowed leave our luggage earlier and waited in the café with a drink til our room was finished. We booked a family room, it was clean and spacious. The view is nice, the hotel is perched on the side of Yudalsan-mountain and overlooks the neighborhood below and you can see quite far into the city. The common area is clean and cozy. We did our laundry here for free, I do recommend checking ahead of time since the guesthouse also uses the same machines. On the day of check-out we left our luggage here for a bit while we visited the cable car, as it had been closed due to a typhoon that was passing Korea. When we arrived later to pick everything up and leave the staff helped us arrange a taxi to the busterminal. All in all we had an amazing stay. The guesthouse is reachable by foot from the station in maybe 10 minutes, but keep in mind it is on a hill. Its perfectly located near several attractions. The former Japanese Consulate(now museum), and the mountain is stunning too and its entrance is across the street. The neighborhoods are also nice and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Walking to mokpo station, all other places in the city are less than an hour away by bus.

::Really enjoyed my stay at this guesthouse. It was clean, spacious room and great location. The view from my window was really awesome day and night! The breakfast was typical Korean with kimchi etc. affordable price!

::A great guest house with cafe, restaurant, and self catering kitchen plus tea and coffee supplied. Korean breakfast included. Fantastic views across harbour and city from viewpoint 100yards away. Rooms very clean comfortable and modern .. only disadvantage ..with the views comes a steep to very steep hill .. if you are planning to walk from station it is, on paper, only about 10 to 15 minutes walk but, with a suitcase in tow, the last five to ten breathless minutes will be a struggle.. take a taxi!

::Great little inn. Really really clean and the staff were very friendly. It's a few steps from Yudal Mountain. 10-20 minute walk from the station, depending on if the roads are icy. Be warned that if you have luggage, get a cab. It may be close to the station, but the hill going to the inn can be steep. Also all the food places are at the bottom, closer to the station, so plan accordingly. This is very much a family/couple inn, no nightlife in sight.
