  I wouldn’t recommend Jenny House in CheongDam to non-celebrities. They lack professionalism, customer service and most importantly- skill. Don’t let the celebrity clientele fool you, because you won’t receive the same service or attention to detail that celebrities receive. I took my husband to this salon after reading numerous articles and reviews, I was sold on its reputation- only to be disappointed. I asked for two things and they failed to deliver my 2 requests- a clean look and volume magic. Yunmi, the team leader, was the stylist assigned to my husband. She completely disregarded my requests and butchered my husband’s hair and boasted that she did a great job. She didn’t show any signs of remorse or even offered a small apology. She showed me a picture of a celebrity hanged on a wall and stated that she would be going for the particular look which resembled Jay Park with a Two Block and slick back volumized hair. She stated that my husband would only have enough perm to slick back his hair when blow dryer. Well, she completely missed his perm and his hair looks like Obama’s dog’s hair (Portuguese Waterdog) or Golden Doodle (Poodle mix). I get that this type of hairstyle is “in” among Koreans but it’s not for us. She gave some poor excuse about how my husband’s stick straight hair would have been flatter with volume magic. I believe it’s called “volume magic” for its volumizing effects. It’s not like they had a communication error, I speak both Korean and English fluently. She also stated that my husband’s sensitive scalp was damaged and needed therapy, we took her recommendation and my husband’s sensitive skin broke out like crazy. My husband didn’t want to be rude and was saying that it was “okay” but he’s complained about his hair everyday since. The only good part about the whole experience was an employee by the name of Jae-In, she was really nice and even gave an apology on behalf of her rude superior. This is a high end salon with subpar salon service and skills. 진짜 비추입니다. 연예인들이 다닌다는 미용실이라고 듣고 신랑이랑 같이 왔는데, 고객이 원하는건 듣지도 않고 사과도 없고. 깔끔한 스타일에 볼륨매직을 부탁드렸는데, 지금보니 남편머리가 오바마 대통령의 개랑 (포르트갈 워터도그) 똑같네요. 윤미 팀장님 실력도 딸리시고 기본적인 예의도 없으세요. 볼륨매직이 저희 신랑의 막대기 같은 생머리가 더 납작해진다는 말도 안되는 핑계 대놓고, 사과 한마디 없으셨어요. 팀장이란 두피가 아파보인다고 추천한 서비스까지 다 받고 왔는데, 보기만 해도 예민한 저희 신랑의 피부가 더 심해졌어요. 신랑은 그래도 착해서 괜찮다 괜찮다 하는데 미용실 떠나고 하루도 빠짐없이 머리를 보면서 짜증과 한숨쉽니다. 딱 한가지 좋은점을 찾는다면 “재인”이라는 분 정말 친절 하셨어요. 팀장이 잘못한걸 대신 사과하고 끝까지 정말 친절하게 대해 주셨네요... 제니 하우스 정말 후회됩니다.
