  The rooms are outdated and stuffy. The furnitures are too big for the rooms. When you use the bathroom, the light illuminates the whole room, which prevents to use it when the other person is sleeping. The cleanliness was questionable, I could not sleep for several days because of all the dust on the carpet, headboard, etc... The cleaning lady do what they can do with their outdated equipment. Their vacuum is as old as the 80's and seems to weigh a ton. I felt that their was very few consideration for them. During the whole week it was impossible to book the SPA or the pool facilities as the hotel seems to be overbooked. The western style breakfast was not good. The tomatoes were tasteless and the juices mixed with a lot of water and sugar! The pastries were not fresh as well. Overall I won't come back to this hotel, which does not reflect the 5 stars advertised.

  Nice hotel, very centrally located in the shopping district. Friendly staff and nice amenities. gym is pretty large but minimal in equipment. Recommend!

  Location is definitely as a plus. Decent breakfast options. Nevertheless, the furniture and room itself looks used. I prefer to have more fresh and repaired facilities.

  Stayed here for five nights. The location is convenient given that it is attached to Lotte department store which is connected to the subway underground. That is the best thing about the hotel. The next best thing would be the lobby and the lifts which are nicely furbished and well maintained. However, once you step into the room, you would forget you are staying in a supposed 5 star luxury hotel. Apart from the dated fixtures and furnishings, the bathroom is poorly designed. The shower keeps flooding the bathroom (see picture). The blinds don't block the sunlight from streaming into the room from the bathroom. The AC is not cold enough for the thickness of the duvet. The room service is exorbitant (even for 5 star hotels) - think 20,000 krw for a fruit juice. The taste did not match the price. The service at the reception and concierge is okay. Not super helpful, not super warm. Wouldn't stay again, not for the price.

  To be honest, it was a disappointing hotel stay. We paid a decent amount to stay there. The staff service and breakfast quality were very good, but the room size was smaller than expected, the design was outdated, and the bathroom was low. The hallway to our room smelled of mold. Upon checking in, we learned there were new and old buildings, and the rooms in the new building might be better.
