Nice ambient and great service. Unfortunately itβ€˜s over 23:00 and we could here what our neighbours were talking about. Of course it was matter of good manner like being aware of staying calm after 22:00 but there are people around with this kind of mind set I-donβ€˜t-care. As result I had to wait until they went to bed otherwise they could be a little bit calm so that my baby could sleep further.

My recent stay at Mayfield Hotel in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, was a delightful experience that exceeded my expectations, particularly during a special family celebration. The hotel's exceptional service and beautiful setting made our visit truly memorable, especially in commemorating my baby's first birthday. Firstly, the hotel's responsiveness to special requests was commendable. Upon booking, I mentioned a preference for a traditional Korean Ondol room, which wasn't available through the online booking platform. To my pleasant surprise, the hotel not only acknowledged my request but also upgraded us to an Ondol room at no extra cost. This gesture of accommodating our cultural preference was a thoughtful touch that enhanced our comfort and overall experience. Secondly, the staff's willingness to assist with specific needs for our baby's celebration was remarkable. Understanding the importance of our stay, they promptly provided access to a microwave for warming baby food and supplied an extra chair without hesitation. Such attentiveness to our family's needs demonstrated the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction and their ability to cater to special occasions with grace and efficiency. Lastly, the timing of our visit allowed us to enjoy the hotel's stunning garden, which was in full bloom with cherry blossoms. The breathtaking scenery added a magical backdrop to our celebration, and the staff's friendly and attentive service throughout our stay ensured that our time at Mayfield Hotel was not just a stay but a joyous experience. The beauty of the garden, coupled with the warm hospitality, created the perfect setting for our special occasion. In conclusion, Mayfield Hotel in Seoul is a prime example of hospitality that goes above and beyond to create memorable experiences for its guests. From accommodating unique room preferences to addressing specific needs during family celebrations, the hotel and its staff excel in making every moment special. My time at Mayfield Hotel, amid the beauty of its springtime garden and the kindness of its staff, was an experience I treasure and highly recommend to others seeking a stay that's as heartwarming as it is beautiful.

If you're heading to gimpo airport or just stopping in between then this is a nice stop to stay close to the airport and it's got a lovely large grounds area. Very helpful and truly 5 star hotel. I didn't bother with the expensive restaurants in the hotel, I took the free shuttle to lotte mall and ate lunch there. Bought some takeaway back to the hotel with me for dinner. Buy your breakfast pastry the night before because they don't open until 10am

Not a five star hotel per North America standard, upon check in, there are dirty hair in the bathtub from previous guests. It took three calls and one and half hour for front desk to send someone over. Lots of crumbs and dirty marks on the carpet beside the elevator door. You are also going to pay top dollar(almost double the price than Fairmont for food and/or room service). For me, if a 5 star hotel cannot keep the room and the property clean, you don't get to charge those prices.
