  I came here because people from Sokcho say they go here a lot. It is said that a lot of chicken gangjeong is used in public institutions around here. The owner was very kind and explained a lot. Unlike other places that mostly use Brazilian chicken and cater to foreigners, they use domestic chicken and the owner himself explains it, which makes me trust him. As a person who likes chicken dishes, I prefer the right ratio of fried food to meat and seasoning that is not too spicy, but I really like the combination of the subtle scent of deodeok and the slight curry flavor mixed in with the seasoning. A place called Citizen Chicken Gangjeong opened right next to this store, and it is said that they copy Munjeonseongsi Chicken Gangjeong's Deodeok Chicken Gangjeong and charge a higher price. Since there is a lot of promotion online, tourists seem to only rely on ignorant Naver blog recommendations. This is true in any travel destination: a place where few tourists go but at the same time a lot of locals go. 100% willing to visit again and order delivery.

  I always stop by this dakgangjeong restaurant every time I go to Sokcho. The chicken is moist and tastes even better when eaten with deodeok. It's delicious even if you pack it and eat it the next day. I wish the batter was a little thinner.

  I found out by chance and heard that delivery was also possible, so I ordered delivery and tried it. The owner is really friendly, and it's delivered by the post office, so if you order early, you can eat it the next day. I ordered Deodeok Chicken Gangjeong and the seasoning was sweet and spicy. When I get to the point where I'm feeling the right amount of greasiness, the deodeok takes over the flavor well, so I keep eating it. Highly recommended

  First, I pack it up and eat it at the hotel... Manseok's Dakgangjeong would probably have been crunchy, but this one didn't have that. However, the skin itself is chewy, so it's okay, and the chicken doesn't smell. They say they use Harim chicken... but the chicken itself is good. I ordered spicy, and it wasn't spicy at all, but it was sweet and spicy enough to stimulate my taste buds. I wish it was more spicy. Still, if I were to eat Manseok and this on that day, I would probably eat this.

They also sell similar products, so don't be fooled and buy the original Deodeok Chicken Gangjeong at Munjeonseongsi Chicken Gangjeong. Nationwide delivery is available, so you can buy it anytime. The chicken is very soft and you can taste the Deodeok flavor, so I highly recommend it as a healthy and nutritious chicken soup. ^^
