  I was about to start a gastroscopy as part of a regular health check-up, but my internist suggested an ultrasound because I thought I had jaundice. The radiologist said my pancreas looked suspicious and recommended a CT scan. In the end, the common bile duct was blocked due to a 3cm carcinoma in the head of the pancreas and inflammation was starting, so I went straight to the emergency room of a tertiary hospital after receiving a report that it was urgent to insert a stent into the bile duct. The hospital resident I visited said that he had mild jaundice and that a pancreatic cancer mass was found through ultrasound, and he seemed a bit surprised by the faithful contents of the opinion, which included an interpretation that although the cancer mass was not small, a mastectomy was possible. That was in May 2020, and after twelve rounds of polpyrinox chemotherapy, pancreaticoduodenectomy surgery was performed in December, and the patient is still being followed up as of September 2023.

The doctors and nurses had a sense of duty and treated the patients with sincerity, but the person in charge of industrial accident insurance, Manager Lee, had no consideration for patient consultations and was extremely indignant at the overbearing, authoritarian attitude and administrative handling. I will not mention specific cases, but if you are hospitalized for the first time without knowing anything about industrial accident hospitalization, you may be very uncomfortable with the consultation and administrative processing with this department, so I recommend another hospital. thank you

  It's not a treatment, but a local hospital that's good for getting a checkup quickly. It was convenient to receive the gastroscopy in the afternoon without waiting, and the nurses and doctors were very kind ^^
