::I ordered a superior room that looks a normal modern room but I was checked into a traditional floor mat, floor desk room. I am a foreigner and we do not sit on the floors. I made a call to the front desk complaining it is not what is shown on the picture when I checked in, the guy said this is the only one room. Aircondition didnt work, they didnt bother to change the room. The hotel is a very depressed, hasnt been renovated at least 50 years. Its a sad sad service example.

::WynDyn is a fusion restaurant located on the lobby floor in Hotel Riviera Cheongdam, specializing in Chinese, Japanese and Korean cuisines. Along with spacious hall tables, there are many rooms for private dining. The best signature dish is Shark's fin soup. It is so divine and full of healthy flavor with various vegetables that I even add rice in it. Other dishes based on seasonal ingredients are also tasty, especially the seafood dishes.

::“RUDE FRONT DESK” This hotel is definitely not 4 stars. The front desk (2 man - 1 old & 1 young) is extremely rude and unprofessional. I came early but I DID NOT REQUEST for early check-in but both of them said NO - EARLY CHECK-IN, excuse me? I did not even say anything yet. After that, the reception gave me room with 2 single beds and parking lot view (my booking is 1 double bed), then he said he upgraded my room to 2 big beds, just took it, excuse me again? Deposit for my stay (room charge is paid via agoda), he asked that i have enough money for deposit, excuse me once again? Jesus, this place is the worst hotel ever. Definitely not recommended and definitely NOT gonna come back!

::Rooms are spacious. Not the most modern hotel around but still good compromise between pricing and quality. Restaurant is not the greatest in the area but still acceptable for a quick meal. Very convenient location though.

::Generally dated hotel. Rooms are old, dusty and need to be renovated. The front desk staff isn't welcoming or helpful. I asked to use a phone since I had a data only e-sim, and they directed me to a pay phone in the lobby which is impossible to figure out. Don't see how this is a "4 star" hotel.
