  Before I even entered, I was met outside by staff member who took over wrangling my bags. Reception was smooth. The check in process was efficient but did not feel rushed. It was a friendly feeling of being truly welcomed. Useful information was conveyed and all questions answered. I was upgraded on my room which was a nice surprise. The entire hotel is visually stunning. Spotless. The staff everywhere in the hotel was friendly and welcoming. My room was spacious —not always the case in Asia. Everything was perfect. I purchased the breakfast buffet and was very glad. Buffet style with lots of choices and everything was delicious. Friendly helpful staff greeted you and took care of any requests. I ate in the fancy restaurant one evening and the sea bass was perfect —tender, perfectly cooked on the inside nice and crispy on the outside. It’s an elegant choice for an evening meal. There’s even a bakery! Please treat yourself to a stay at The Square Novotel Ambassador. In Gangnam. You will not regret. I will stay again. Thank you to everyone for hard work. I enjoyed!

  High quality Accor chain hotel in the Gangnam area, very well connected via subway for city centre visits or suburban hiking. Overwhelming breakfast buffet with European, Korean, and Japanese options. Helpful staff with attention to detail and high quality of service.

  Literally the best concierge I have ever experienced! Young-Il was the best! He helped me with transportation, with suggestions on restaurants, with EVERYTHING having to do with my stay and with the most positive attitude.

  Room is relatively old. Air conditioning DOES NOT WORK. Stayed for 4 nights and not rectified. Some of my friends’ room air conditioning is working. It’s summer / autumn here and it’s sweating hot at night. Reported since day 1, and no improvement or repairs. This is not acceptable. Toilet and shower is very old school. Shower curtain is single layer and it moves and stuck to your body when shower. Water will splash to your sink and watch out for the toiletries which will get wet. Hair dryer is working but old school design without cold air option.

  It’s been a long time since I had such an amazing hotel service. The staff, especially Kate looked after me very well. The room was amazing, and the team looked after me by offering me late checkout from my gold status. This made my short trip so much better, and I really the extra effort that the team put in to help. This was also my partner’s anniversary and we wanted to celebrate after having just travelled for 2 months. Perfect end, thanks!
