::The House Hostel was soooo cute and drastically exceeded my expectations. Yoo was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and very communicative. You can tell he has put much love and care into the space and into creating amenities for guests with everything they may need. The room was clean and warm. I cannot overstate how cozy and welcoming the space was. I would recommend anyone to stay here!

::Very nice decoration and host was friendly giving you info for all the places to eat etc..., but verify his info as he wasn't up to date on bus prices :). Room was small but adequate, has almost everything you need. You're given clean sheets and have to make your own bed. Hot/cold water station available, hair dryer, shampoo, toothpaste provided but no bidet/hose for the toilet. There are stairs only so a bit challenging if you have a heavy luggage, but the host helps when he can. Location is near the intercity bus terminal and near a bus stop that goes to Seoraksan, however it is far from the express bus terminal and about 900m to the central market. Not a lot of restaurants around.

::It really was a perfect stay all round! Yoo is incredibly dedicated and committed, he takes his time and gives you tips for excursions and restaurants. You can take fresh towels at any time, it's cleaner than most hotels I've stayed in, you have your own fridge in your room and your own bathroom with shampoo and soap. We even extended our stay because we felt so comfortable. I can only recommend staying at the House Hostel to anyone who comes to sokcho!

::Really nice hostel with a laid back vibe you donโt find anymore these days. The owner is very friendly and helpful, gives you tons of tips for eating and site seeing. Accommodation is very clean. It takes 30 minutes to go to Seoraksan national park by bus, first one leaves around 7am. Bus stop and convenient store within 1 minute walk. Iโve stayed in a 2 person room, big enough. Good value for money!
